About Us 

The Al-Minhaal Academy Masjid is an organization of Muslim Americans that provides religious, educational and social services to its members, as well as to the community at large.The Masjid had a humble beginning, and has moved from its initial location in Plainfield, New Jersey to the current facility on 1764-A New Durham Road, South Plainfield NJ.

The number of attendees has Alhamdulillah grown exponentially and currently about 1000 worshippers attend the weekly Jummah prayer, Alhamdulillah.


Vision
Establish a dynamic Islamic community encouraging formal and informal dialogue in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah on the understanding of our righteous predecessors while promoting leadership, teamwork, education, volunteerism, religious and social services through transparency and collaboration within community members.


Mission
Our primary goal of our Islamic Institution is to transmit knowledge in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah on the understanding of our righteous predecessors, provide a safe upbringing away from negative influences, and develop strong moral characters for our children by providing a venue for practicing what they learn in the school.

We aspire to be a model Muslim community of diverse backgrounds with inclusiveness and tolerance while interacting with the neighbors and the communities surround us in the best Islamic manner possible.

The ultimate objective is to seek the pleasure of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala according to the Quran and Sunnah on the understanding of our righteous predecessors.


History
The Al-Minhaal Academy Masjid was established initially to support Al Minhaal Academy and its students as a venue to practice what they learn in the school by offering daily prayers when the school is in session. The Masjid aspires to be a beacon of understanding and cooperation with our fellow citizens and neighbors by providing religious, educational, social and recreational programs.

As a religious organization, we take pride in developing our community, young and adults, men and women into becoming active and creative citizens while fostering the kindness and compassion for others within the confinement of Islamic beliefs in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah on the understanding of our righteous predecessors.
